Come and enjoy yourself! We invite you to consider joining our community choirs. Bring your talents and your interest to learn and be a part of small groups of like-minded new friends. We are a growing church with growing choirs. Come be a part of the fun!
Hand-bell ringers rehearse each Sunday from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Under the direction of Sue Keitel, the ringers generally perform once a month at the 10 a.m. service, in addition to festivals. If you are age 12 or older and can count to 4, you are invited to join. Training, friendship, and a feeling of accomplishment will be provided. For more information, send e-mail to Sue at suegeo92@aol.com .
Singers: Come and join with others in the camaraderie of the choir! Come and experience the joy of singing your faith! Singers of all abilities are invited to join our mixed-voice adult choir, which formed last fall under the leadership of Linda Lanier-Keosaian. The choir rehearses on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9 in the evening, and again on Sundays at 8:45a.m., performing regularly at the 10 a.m. service. For more information, send an e-mail to Linda at lanierkeosaian@optonline.net.
In the Episcopal Church, we enact a liturgy (or set ritual) each week. Our ritual may seem formal and stuffy to some, but to us it is comforting and habit-forming. We hope you will like it, as well! We see singing and music as integral part of this worship, not a time-filler or performance. Our musicians are parish leaders, helping draw the congregation into a closer relationship with the divine. Song leaders, bell ringers, and other musicians render a valuable service to the church, since music is such an important part of how we glorify God.
