Mtr. Diana will be offering communion after the service on May 30th. This is part of a Diocesan wide effort to share the Eucharist once per month in a safe way. Details will be announced during the worship service and by email. In the event of rain, you will enter the church through the front doors, exiting out a side door. No lingering will be permitted.
Full Parish Meeting Next Sunday!
Mother Diana and the leadership of this parish would like to meet with everyone in the parish following our worship service on Sunday, May 23rd. We want to continue our discussion of our journey as a parish, and have everyone engage with us in a time of discernment for the next chapter of our lives together in Christ. Mother Diana and the people of Christ Church in Bloomfield & Glen Ridge (where she serves as Rector) invites us to a Holy Week of Eucharist, music, and fellowship via Zoom and Facebook Live. The schedule is above. We are inviting the people of Christ Church to join us for a spoken service by Zoom on Easter morning at 9am. Information on how to participate may also be found here:
https://christchurchepiscopal.org/join-us-for-holy-week-2/ So that it is a fully partnered event, she is asking for volunteers from our parish to be readers for the Passion that concludes the Palm Sunday service. This will be done on Zoom following the main service, so no travel is needed. She is also inviting us to read at the other services. This would require being present at Christ Church, located in Glen Ridge/Bloomfield, as readers need to be in the church for it to be picked up by both livestreams. If you are available to be present in the church on Palm Sunday or any of the Triduum services, let her know as soon as possible by emailing her at rector@christchurchepiscopal.org. Holy Week is the most important part of the Christian calendar, so please make every effort to participate in whatever way you are best able. Join with our friends at Christ Church in Bloomfield & Glen Ridge (where Mother Diana is Rector) for the YouTube premiere event of a Lenten Evensong service on March 14th. As gathering in person for this beloved tradition is not possible, they will offer the service done in 2019, and will air it "live" on their Youtube channel at 5pm on March 7th.
